I'm an English-language educator with 8+ years across China, Austria & India. I build lessons that students remember — through stories, sound, and a healthy dose of play.
My approach blends Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) with Content & Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) — using art, story and sound to turn English into something students do, not something they study.
"I don't teach English." I teach kids and undergrads how to think out loud in it — through games, debate, art, theatre, and the occasional bad pun. Grammar comes along for the ride.
Real conversations beat drilled paradigms. I design lessons around what students actually want to say — debates, role-plays, presentations, the works.
Language lives inside subjects. CLIL through art & visual media teaches structure and vocabulary in a context students already love.
From the autism unit at Manovikas Kendra to large undergrad lectures — every learner gets met where they are. Inclusion isn't a feature; it's the default.
Eight skills, sharpened across A0–B2 learners aged 5 to undergrad.
Band 8.0 myself · routed candidates from B1 to band-ready in 8–12 weeks.
Communicative Language Teaching is my default — comprehension through use, not memorisation.
Content & Language Integrated Learning — especially through art and visual media.

The art side of my brain doesn't switch off when I walk into a classroom — it walks in with me. At STAR International I built a full CLIL syllabus around visual art. At EF Wuhan I directed student theatre that won state-level awards.
It's not a hobby on the side. It's the engine.
Multilingual classrooms are a strength — code-switching with intention helps learners cross the bridge into English faster.
